FAQ

Answers before you engage

Straightforward responses to the questions leaders ask most often when considering Halcyon Partners.

What types of organizations do you work with?

We primarily serve mid-size and growing enterprises—manufacturers, healthcare networks, logistics providers, professional services firms, and technology-enabled businesses. The common thread is operational complexity: enough scale that informal coordination no longer works, and enough urgency that leaders need outside clarity without losing internal ownership.

How is Halcyon different from larger consulting firms?

We keep teams lean and partner-led. You work directly with experienced advisors rather than a revolving cast of junior analysts. Our methods are rigorous, but recommendations are right-sized for your capacity. We measure success by what still works after we leave—not by the volume of deliverables produced.

How long does a typical engagement last?

Discovery and roadmap work often runs four to eight weeks. Implementation support commonly spans three to six months, depending on scope and organizational readiness. Facilitation series and retained advisory relationships are scoped month-to-month or quarterly. We propose a timeline only after we understand the problem and your team’s bandwidth.

Do you work on-site or remotely?

Both. Observation-heavy work benefits from on-site time—especially in operations, clinical settings, and manufacturing. Workshops and governance sessions often run hybrid. Our Philadelphia base at 1500 Market Street makes regional travel straightforward; we also support national clients with structured remote collaboration.

How do you involve our internal teams?

Collaboration is built into the method. We interview stakeholders across levels, co-design solutions in working sessions, and assign internal owners for every major change. We are explicit about the time we need from your people so sponsorship decisions are informed—not surprising.

How do you measure success?

Before implementation begins, we agree on a short set of indicators—cycle time, first-pass yield, on-time delivery, decision latency, employee clarity scores, or other metrics relevant to your goals. We review progress at defined checkpoints and adjust the plan when evidence shows a better path.

What does the discovery conversation include?

A complimentary discovery call typically lasts 30–45 minutes. We ask about the symptoms you see, prior improvement attempts, sponsorship, and constraints. You leave with an honest sense of fit and, if appropriate, a proposed next step such as a scoped diagnostic or facilitation session.

Can you support confidential or sensitive initiatives?

Yes. We routinely work under nondisclosure agreements and tailor stakeholder access carefully for reorganizations, leadership transitions, and commercially sensitive programs. Confidentiality expectations are documented before detailed discovery begins.

How do we get started?

Email [email protected], call +1 (215) 569-4400, or use our contact form. Share a brief description of the challenge and preferred timing. We typically respond within one business day.

Still have questions?

We are happy to talk through fit, scope, and timing before any commitment.
